Open Drawing Studio is a specialized platform built for electrical engineers to streamline the creation and management of Bill of Materials (BOM) from line diagrams. I led the design from scratch, crafting intuitive interfaces that allow users to upload electrical schematics, auto-detect components, and generate editable BOMs. The platform supports multi-project management, granular BOM tracking, and collaborative workflows through a robust user management system with role-based access.
Electrical engineers often rely on manual processes to extract components from diagrams and compile BOMs, leading to inefficiencies, errors, and versioning issues. Collaboration across teams is also fragmented due to lack of centralized tools.
